Hey guys,
Vengaboy just alerted me to an upcoming fam trip on the 11th or 28th of Aug – it’s to the SG discovery center, some F&B outlets and Entertainment areas. This was communicated through the message book on 28/07.
So when are we going?? ![]()

And may this always be the case for us (Sorry MX – we’ll do another one with you next time yah?)
I’ve been unable to post up the bus info from the Orchard SVC to the attractions… so i’ll have to leave it to someone more acquainted with web programming to do it :p I’ve also realised that hosting up all the photos that we’ve taken is a slightly painstaking and tedious task… but I’m more than willing to consolidate all the photos and burn it onto a CD for us. I’ve got SJ’s ones – can we bring our personal ones tomorrow?

I just woke up! It’s almost 1300h! I can’t believe I slept in until so late :p Working the 1715 – 0215 shift is no joke siah. By the time I got home and went to bed, it was past 0300h liao…
Mx and I did t1t yesterday. We burnt a few calories walking around, met quite a few interesting people, were told more interesting stories by an even more interesting person, and were treated to dinner at this “secret” eating place (thanks a & j!). Quite fun lah
How’s everyone else?

After a long sunday, I decided to head down to Adam Rd food centre (I really do eat at hawker centres ok…) to have a nice bowl of prawn mee. But when I got there, they had these crabs displayed very temptingly in the window. So instead of having prawn mee, I had this

Ok, this isn’t really crab mee… just prawn mee pretending to be crab mee, but it’s really good prawn/crab mee
The crab was BIG and suprisingly fresh – the meat was very sweet and held together really well. They cracked the shell at all the right places so I didn’t have to struggle with getting to the meat either, but you’ll still get your hands dirty for sure
Not to worry – the sinks to wash your hands are just around the corner. By the time I was done with it, I hardly had enough space to eat the noodles! But still, with a little perserverance…

To summarize – good crab, good soup, good noodles, very reasonably priced. They serve this in 3 sizes: $10 small, $12 med, $15 big. I had the big one :p
NOO CHENG ADAM ROAD PRAWN NOODLES
